IAFE – Helping Schools Save Money And The Environment
The Institute Of Air Conditioning For Education (IAFE) is a non-profit making organisation created to help schools understand the considerable financial and environmental benefits of using air sourced heat pumps (air conditioning) to heat and cool.
Fuel bills can be reduced by up to 75% with the added benefit of cooling during the Summer months which has been shown to positively affect student performance, concentration and staff well-being. Air conditioning also hugely reduces a school’s carbon footprint and is considerably more efficient and less environmentally damaging than existing gas, electricity or oil based systems.
Institute specialists offer completely free help, advice and assistance securing funding and financial support. They will also help arrange and prepare supporting written documentation relating to any funding applications that they endorse. Free site surveys and fully costed written proposals can be arranged and all IAFE accredited engineers are fully vetted and DBS screened.
